Athlete starts fundraising campaign

Henry County athlete Paige Copeland started her first fundraising project as she joined the Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Committee. Click here to contribute.

Paige has begun her two-year term as the official Torch Run Athlete Ambassador and serving as an active member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Council for the state. Paige is active in sports with Special Olympics Georgia as well competing in sports from bocce, equestrian, bowling, volleyball, and track and field just to name a few.

 Paige was recently quoted saying “Being special has brought many challenges into my life, and all special needs people have big challenges in their lives. In fact, we all face challenges. But whether or not you’re special, you can face the challenges by seeing them as storms, or you can see them as rainbows. I choose to see mine as rainbows, and I challenge everyone  to do the same.”

Make it a Chili’s night Oct. 20

Bowl with Young Leaders Nov. 18

Bowl for Gold on November 18th at Midtown Bowl with Special Olympics Young Leaders. Enjoy a great evening of bowling, friends, and supporting our athletes. Cost is $30 per bowler or $180 for a team of 6 bowlers. You can also sponsor an Special Olympic athlete to play for $30.
