Join SOGA for the Unified Relay Across America
by SOGAIn May 2015, Special Olympics will launch three simultaneous torch runs from the east coast of the United States – one from the north, one from the central part of the country, and one from the south. Over the course of 46 days these unified torch runs will cross the nation touching all 50 states. You can participate. You can walk, jog, run, rollerblade or cycle while carrying the Flame of Hope. by SOGABe there for the inaugural St. Peter Chanel 5K run/walk, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, Nov. 22nd at 8 a.m., at Blessed Trinity High School on St. Peter Chanel’s campus in Roswell. The race, benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics Georgia, features a 3.1-mile course of flat roads and a scenic, rolling trail.
Register for the event or make a donation.
Cost:
– $25 per runner/walker (Through November 16th)
– $30 per runner/walker (November 17 – November 21)
– $35 per runner/walker (On-site registration race morning)
Registration includes a long-sleeved tech shirt and invitation to post-race party.
