Today, the Geico office in Macon is presenting a check to Special Olympics Georgia and to the Special Olympics local program in Macon.

Cheer on the athletes at State Summer Games May 29-31 at Emory University. Approximately 1,800 athletes will compete in aquatics, athletics, flag football, gymnastics, soccer, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball. Click here for the schedule.

Let’s get ready for March 4th’s, Spread the Word to End the Word™ Day  and build awareness for society to stop and think about it’s use of the R-word.

Use of that R-word, “retard” or “retarded,” is hurtful and painful and whether intended or not, is a form of bullying. Most people don’t think of this word as hate speech, but that’s exactly what it feels like to millions of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and friends.
