Athlete starts fundraising campaign

Henry County athlete Paige Copeland started her first fundraising project as she joined the Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Committee. Click here to contribute.

Paige has begun her two-year term as the official Torch Run Athlete Ambassador and serving as an active member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Council for the state. Paige is active in sports with Special Olympics Georgia as well competing in sports from bocce, equestrian, bowling, volleyball, and track and field just to name a few.

Paige was recently quoted saying “Being special has brought many challenges into my life, and all special needs people have big challenges in their lives. In fact, we all face challenges. But whether or not you’re special, you can face the challenges by seeing them as storms, or you can see them as rainbows. I choose to see mine as rainbows, and I challenge everyone  to do the same.”

Please help support Paige and her new adventures with the Law Enforcement Torch Run to support Special Olympics Georgia by making a donation at
